Goodall and Sons

For the second volume in my celebrated Read like the Devil trilogy of books, I decided to go for a classic deck of playing cards.

I picked a design from Goodall and Sons, from around 1870, and gave it a lift. Adrian Kennard kindly provided the vector images for this deck that can be found in the public domain, and I processed everything else to my heart’s desire. I choose a smooth and silky card stock and went for gilt edges all around. It turned out beautiful.

This deck is now part of my book and serves as an example for my cartomantic readings. It can be purchased in my rendition here.

For a reading with this particular classical playing card deck, book it here.
